The meetings were much better with more interactions between the members. It was a little more of a tight knit setting so people could get a better understanding of the issues, and feel comfortable asking questions. Discussions were generated between members who may not have spoken up before.

INTRODUCING NEW CONTENT CREATED JUST FOR YOUR OPERATIONS PERSONNEL
New this year, we are adding to the line up of the Southern Region Meeting, a full day of presentations created specifically to serve the needs of operating personnel on short line and regional railroads. As the modern railroad network becomes increasingly complex, companies rely more heavily upon one another in order to keep traffic moving safely while exercising sound operating practices. We have prepared a comprehensive program that will add value to your operation, whether you are a Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Superintendent, or Roadmaster.
Registration is available for the Operations Track (held on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning) as a stand-alone event for the special reduced rate of $139 for railroad members (fee increases after September 19th)
. Alternatively, railroad members may also register for the full Regional Meeting fee of $289 (fee increases after September 19th)
and also attend the Safety Institute Session on Tuesday morning for a day and half packed with Safety and Operations education.
